Curious about intersection configuration. Strange

From what I understand, the bridge alignment is to remove twists and turns to keep traffic moving in a straighter line.

seems as though it would be less confusing with the roads coming onto morgan road opposite each other instead of the way it shows on this map. why not the way it is now/

Whats to keep them from slowing down once the bridge is two lane and there isn't a corner?

Confused about your statement- with a new two lane bridge - no corner to turn - traffic will go move much faster than now -even if a speed limit is posted -we all know many will ignore-not meant for them.

Essentially, the County is removing the "speed bumps" that slowed down traffic--the one lane bridge and the sharp turn onto Morgan Creek Road. Once the bridge is widened and people don't need to stop and look before crossing the bridge and the corner is removed, speed becomes an issue.

sure does-someone might have chicken for dinner if they are still running loose when bridge is done.
